I made this documentary to show me and Rachel’s journey as we prepared to run our first 1/2 marathon. We once believed running a 1/2 marathon was impossible and then one day we decided to train for the Rock ‘n’ Roll 1/2 Marathon in San Antonio, TX. This documentary portrays the highs and lows of training. It is to serve as inspiration and motivation to anyone that hopes to do something that they think is impossible.
This is a documentary I made of Rachel’s first 5k. This is how our love of running all began!
Here is a link to a documentary I highly recommend. It is called “Spirit of the Marathon.” You really need to watch this if you love running or if you are thinking about getting into running.
This is great! I’ll be running my first 5k (my first race ever) in December, so Rachel’s video and this site are huge inspirations.
I am glad to hear that 🙂 I am finishing up our documentary about our first half marathon…hopefully I can upload it soon!
Very cool! My boyfriend and I are training for our first half marathon. Good luck to you both.
It’s a great date to run together…and cheap!!
Thank you so much for this! So encouraging! I am definitely going to sign up for a race!
I’m so happy to hear that!!
You guys did a great job! I Love how you guys posted a video of the entire journey. This is wonderful. Great Job.
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it. Hoped people would see that all of the struggle was worth it in the end.
Thanks for sharing!
I loved this! I am running my first half marathon in a little over 3 weeks and have been feeling discouraged lately due to knee pain. Your guys’ journey was inspiring to watch, thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!! Don’t get discouraged. Stay positive!! Crossing that finish line for the first time will be one of the greatest moments of your life. Rest if you have to in order for your injury to heal to ensure you are ready for race day. Good luck and have an awesome run! Let me know how it goes. 🙂
Thank you, your response has encouraged me! I am resting my knee for now, but as you know, it is SO hard not to run! I am going to try not to run on it for a week and see how it feels. Thanks again, I will let you know how the race goes!
