If people are wondering why Rachel and I decided to train for a marathon I have attached a local news story that was done on us by CBS 11 News in Dallas, TX. It ran last Saturday during the evening news as well as twice during the MDA Telethon last Sunday. For those of you that are not aware, Rachel’s mother was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) two years ago. Currently, her mother has lost the ability to walk and her speech has now become affected by this disease. We are running to gain awareness for ALS and raise money so that the MDA can continue providing services to anyone affected with ALS and hopefully find a cure. Please watch our story.
