  1. Very inspiring indeed my friend. 🙂 Raul & Rachel, I loved the documentary and can truly say I am very inspired. I know I’ve told you a million times, I am terrified of running because it is something I’ve never been able to do. Your video makes me want to get up off this couch and run. 🙂 I loved this video and your blog. Now I want to run a half marathon some day. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your struggles and victories for all to see. 🙂 Truly inspiring. 🙂

    1. I am glad you enjoyed it!! I am going to check in with you in a couple of weeks so that means you better be on week 2 of the couch to 5k. You know I am not kidding, but I am…but I’m not!!

  2. We just sat here and watched this whole thing! You guys did a great job on the video and I couldn’t stop saying “how cute are they!?” Sooo beyond impressed and proud of sub 2 hour time for your first half. Keep runnin’ 😉

  3. Wow! Your blog name caught my attention on one of the freshly pressed posts. Just watched the documentary. Loved the inspirational quotes. It’s so fun, my husband and I have discovered in our 40’s, to push yourself beyond your supposed limits. What’s your next goal?

    1. Thanks for watching!!! The next goal is a full marathon at this time next year. Short term goal is more 1/2 marathons and triathalons…it’s all about the baby steps.

  4. I’m getting ready to run my first 1/2 in San Fran this Spring! I’m pretty sure it’s going to be the US Half. I can’t wait! I love the quotes you chose, very inspiring! Have you read Chi Running? Curious to know what you think of it if you have. Keep it up!! Dara

    1. Thanks Dara!! You will love running your first 1/2 marathon. I still can’t put the feeling into words. When you finish I bet you anything you will say, “I want to run another one!!! I have never read Chi Running…I am almost done with the book I am reading now and will be looking for a new book…Will definitely have to check it out! I will let you know what I think when I am done with it 🙂
