Facing the prospect of halting my training is extremely discouraging. I am almost 100% positive I have tendonitis in my ankle. I’m angry, upset and a wide array of curse words that are too many to mention. I have, for the most part, been positive. But my outlook suddenly looks grim. I have followed the training program and I have done what I can to keep myself healthy. However, it seems as though the cards are slowly being stacked against me. What if I don’t get better with a week’s rest? What if the problem gradually gets worse? The possibility that I may have to cancel my marathon training is too much to bear right now.
